Bunnell Road, Barton Township, NY

Bunnell Road in BartonTownship, Tioga County, New York, north of Waverly. To find it, leave Waverly on Rt. 34 North. About 1 1/2 miles after leaving the city limits, you'll come to Talmadge Hill Road on your right. A short distance up Talmadge road, Ranch Road will be on your left. Turn onto Ranch and you'll come to the interesection in the photo. According to the maps, Bunnell Road goes from Ranch Road to Madigan Road.and is only about 1 mile long. I did not travel up it.

My wife Pat, our cousin Cecil Bunnell and I have done a lot of research in Tioga County, NY. But one unsolved mystery we found on a current county road map. While the 3 of us like to consider ourselves quite knowledgeable about Bunnells and Tioga County, thus we haven't been able to find out who it was named after. Any one out there have any info, or ideas?
